HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A Heat Advisory has been issued for Christian County starting at 10 a.m. on Aug. 31 and lasting through Sept. 4 at 8 p.m.
A stretch of dangerous late-summer heat is expected all week, with sunny skies and highs climbing from 93 today to around 95 Tuesday and 97 Wednesday and Thursday. The National Weather Service is predicting that heat index values will range from 100 to 104 through Friday.
The hot and dry pattern continues through Thursday before a slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms returns Friday.
