Car hits bridge, flips during overnight wreck on I-169 in Christian County

An injury crash that occurred just after midnight is being investigated by deputies with the Christian County Sheriff's Office.

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an overnight crash that left a person injured.

On Oct. 14 just after 12:07 a.m. deputies were called for a crash on Interstate 169 at the Lovers Lane exit. A news releases form CCSO says an SUV was traveling northbound when it entered the median, hit a guardrail, then the Lovers Lane bridge, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The driver was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to the hospital for injuries. This crash remains under investigation by CCSO.
