HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – For over 50 years, Hopkinsville Community College has released an annual literary journal called The Round Table. They are now accepting submissions for 2024’s journal.
The Round Table features original, unpublished fiction, nonfiction, poetry and visual art. According to a news release from HCC, the journal is founded upon the idea that all voices deserve representation. Retired HCC instructor Frances G. Thomas along with a group of HCC honor students first published the Round Table in 1966.
Submissions for the 58th edition are open to the public with the deadline of Jan. 31. Select contributors will participate in a reading at the Round Table Readings and Literary Awards Ceremony in April. Submit work and find submission guidelines on the Hopkinsville Community College website.
