Kathy Scott, 71, of Hopkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Tabernacle Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The family has entrusted Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Scott was born, on May 1, 1952, in Ft. Campbell, KY; the daughter of the late John and Katherine Baker Sutton. Kathy was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Scott; her brothers, Gerald Tillman, John C. Sutton, Jr., Tony Sutton, and Cecil Sutton; her sister, Henrietta Williams.
Survivors include her son, Anthony Scott (Christina) of Hopkinsville; her sisters, Juanita Morris of Trigg County, KY, Glenda May of Herndon, KY, Brenda Dawson of Princeton, KY, Sandy Dawson of Hopkinsville, KY, and Geraldine Smith of Hopkinsville; two grandchildren, Austin Stumbaugh and Kassidy Scott; and great-grandson, Stetson Stumbaugh.
