HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The sunny weather is coming to an end as rain and clouds move in this weekend.

Highs will remain in the upper 50’s and lower 60’s with temperatures dropping to the 40’s at night, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday: Showers before 7am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 7am and 1pm, then a chance of showers after 1pm. High near 63. West southwest wind 6 to 13 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 40. East wind around 10 mph.
Sunday: A 30 percent chance of rain after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 54. East wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
