According to Motor 1, there were over 909,000 F-Series units sold in the States in 2018. That breaks down to about 2,491 sold each day. That’s close to two trucks sold per minute, and that means a new Ford F-series truck has to be produced every 53 seconds to fill the demand.

If it were its own company, the F-Series would be the 80th largest company in the U.S. in terms of revenue, Ford proudly notes – larger than Nike, Coca-Cola, Starbucks, Tesla, MasterCard, Netflix, VISA, Uber, CapitalOne, Twitter and Southwest Airlines.
“I’m honored to work on the F-150. It’s the backbone of America,” mechanical engineer Jackie Dimarco, director of Ford truck strategy, told the Detroit Free Press.
