HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The workshop will be led by HCC English professor Elizabeth Burton. She will use historical objects from the museum’s collection to spark creativity, according to a news release from the museum. Writers will have the chance to examine artifacts, pictures, and items in the exhibit as they create their own compositions.

“Whether you’re interested in historical writing or not, this workshop will spark your creativity,” said Elizabeth Burton. She is looking forward to seeing what people come up with between the different genres of poetry, fiction, or non-fiction.

The workshop will be held at the Pennyroyal Area Museum on Feb. 27, from 5-7 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. For more information, visit www.MuseumsofHopkinsville.org, or call 270-887-4270.
