HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Christian County Military Affairs Committee held their annual Eagle Ambassador Breakfast Thursday morning. Shannon Lane, the Director of Military Affairs said this was the largest crowd they’ve ever had for this event. Around 300 people enjoyed breakfast at The Bruce to watch the keynote speaker and celebrate the MAC’s accomplishments.

The keynote speaker was 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Colonel Kenneth Cole, Deputy Commander of Support. In addition, three awards were given out to members of the community.  Holly Hampton won Outstanding MAC Member Award, Gene Curtis with Patriot Chevrolet won the Soaring Eagle Award, and White’s Auto Mall won the MAC Service Award.

“This is an opportunity to showcase how important our Military is to the region, both as a close neighbor and how much they support the community and nation,” said a press release from the Christian County Chamber of Commerce.

The memberships of the Eagle Ambassadors go directly to support the Military through the outreach, support, and functions that the Military Affairs Committee engages in.
