HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Clear skies and cool temperatures are on the horizon for most of this weekend.

There is chance of showers on Sunday, with thunderstorms after 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will remain in the 50s and 60s during the day with lows reaching into the 30s and 40s at night.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 55. North northwest wind 6 to 10 mph.
Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 33. North wind 6 to 8 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 62. Northeast wind around 6 mph.
Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. East southeast wind 6 to 10 mph.
Sunday: A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 69. South wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Sunday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. South wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.
