HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – 13 suspects have been arrested and charged for drug trafficking in Christian County after a six-month long investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit.

According to CCSO, several arrests were made of three women and 10 men between Feb. 14 and Feb. 20 on a variety of drug and weapons-related charges. The operation was part of a strategic effort to dismantle networks responsible for putting meth, fentanyl, cocaine, and other illicit substances on the streets.

“Our goal is simple,” said Sheriff Tyler DeArmond. “Protect our community from the devastating effects of illegal drugs. These arrests send a clear message, if you choose to distribute poison in Christian County, we will find you, and we will hold you accountable.”

11 individuals from Hopkinsville were arrested, one individual from Oak Grove, and one individual from Crofton were arrested and charged on various counts including trafficking, possession, drug paraphernalia, and owning a handgun by a convicted felon.
