80 local dancers to take the Alhambra stage for The Nutcracker

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Pennyroyal Arts Council, in collaboration with Brooke Bailey Dance, is bringing the production of The Nutcracker back to the Alhambra stage for some holiday magic.

For the fifth year in row, the beloved Christmas production promises to be more exciting than ever with new costumes, choreography, and a brand-new surprise character, according to a news release from the Pennyroyal Arts Council. The Alhambra stage will transform into the Land of Sweets as over 80 talented local dancers bring the magic to life.

The opening night performance will be Friday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m., with additional shows on Dec. 7 and a matinee showing at 2 p.m. on Dec. 8. Tickets will go on sale Monday, Nov. 4 at pennyroyalarts.org. Ticket prices start at $15, with a discount for students.
