HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Pennyroyal Arts Council has announced its 2024-2025 season with six shows coming to the Alhambra Theatre beginning in September.
On Sept. 28, To the Limit: The Ultimate Eagles Experience will take the stage live. As a tribute band to one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, The Eagles, this tribute band will showcase their talent and dedication recreating that Eagles’ timeless sound and spirit.
More great music is coming this winter with Sons of Serendip, on Dec. 29. This classical quartet is known for their unique blend of vocals, harp, piano, and cello promising to bring the holiday spirit to the stage. They first appeared on America’s Got Talent with their creative arrangements from popular songs and will do the same in Hopkinsville.
Next, the Fisk Jubilee Singers will be performing on Jan. 20 to kick off the new year. They are an American acappella ensemble comprised of students at Fisk University in Nashville, who sing and travel worldwide. Performing on MLK Day, they will sing Negro spirituals originally sung by slaves before the Civil War.
On Valentines Day, Shadows of the 60s will perform with Motown hits in stunning costumes with choreography. The following month on March 1, Nashville Legacy with Jason Coleman and Megan Taylor will perform for a must-see show for country music fans.
The Live Alhambra season will end with a show from Robert Neary, who stars in the So Good! A Neil Diamond Experience. Neary will perform alongside a band to some of Neil Diamond’s greatest hits including “Cherry Cherry,” “I Am, I Said,” “I’m a Believer,” “Solitary Man,” “Holly Holy,” “Coming to America,” and “Sweet Caroline.”
