HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Board of Directors for Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention and Visitors Bureau has named Amy Rogers the interim executive director after a resignation from former director Ryan Clark.

In November, Ryan Clark was hired as Executive Director, coming from Oak Grove Tourism Commission. Clark has now resigned from the position, according to a press release from HCCCVB,

Rogers has worked at the Hopkinsville visitor center for almost three years as office manager. She is a well-known and beloved member of the community, said Mary Beth Tomaszewski. “We are excited for the future of tourism in Hopkinsville and Christian County.”

Recently, Rogers spoke at Kiwanis Hopkinsville and shared stories of new programs and incentives to bring more people into the area. During the meeting, she announced they are creating a West Kentucky Distillery tour, and will be collaborating with several other regional tourism bureaus to host activities for the Just Add Water and the Kentucky After Dark initiative.
