HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville-Christian County Downtown Farmers Market, situated at the intersection of Ninth Street and Main Street, is kicking off its 2024 season May 2. MB Roland Distillery is one of the returning vendors people can expect to see this season. This season, MB Roland will offer bottles, handmade spirits, cocktails, and other unique gifts.

Co-Founder Mary Beth said she is excited to be part of the upcoming season, and for the opportunity to share their business with parts of the community that might not know about the distillery. “We enjoy supporting the downtown market,” Mary Beth said. “We love seeing it grow and want to see the market get larger and attract new individuals.”

Tomaszewski explained that the products they offer at the farmers market have a lot of unique uses, and people often use barrel staves, barrel hoops, and even old corks for crafting.

The popular distillery, MB Roland came to be after Mary Beth’s husband Paul visited his brother in Japan, where whiskey culture was getting very popular. After the trip, he came back home to Kentucky with the dream of owning his own distillery. Since then, the distillery has grown into a community staple.

Visit the Downtown Farmers Market on Thursdays from 4-7 p.m. to meet the people of MB Roland and see the all the products from the distillery.
