HOPKINSVILLE, KY – The Hopkinsville Solid Waste Enterprise Board is proud to announce the appointment of Bryan Silver as the new General Manager of Hopkinsville Solid Waste Enterprise (HSWE), following an extensive nationwide search. Silver, who has been serving as Interim General Manager since April 2024, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the organization’s mission.
Silver began his career with HSWE in 2020 as Landfill Manager and Operator, a role in which he consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership and technical expertise. His knowledge and hands-on approach to waste management led to his appointment as Interim General Manager earlier this year, where he has since guided the organization with dedication and vision.

In addition to his tenure with HSWE, Silver worked with Waste Connections, Inc., from 2013 to 2020, gaining valuable industry experience that has enriched his leadership abilities within HSWE. His qualifications include both a Landfill Manager License and a Landfill Operator License, underscoring his strong technical foundation and commitment to upholding best practices in landfill management.
