CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A wreck Saturday morning in Christian County involving a buggy left a man with serious injuries after it went off the roadway.
Around 10:30 a.m. on June 27, emergency crews responded to the accident near the 6000 block of Lafayette Road in Christian County. A pickup truck struck a horse drawn buggy that had a single occupant, according to Payton Rogers with Hopkinsville Fire/EMS.
When the accident occurred, the man in the buggy was ejected which resulted in serious injuries. He refused air medical services and was transported to Vanderbilt Clarksville. Rogers says his injuries are not life threatening, and the horse was not injured.
