HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Christian County Public Schools will not proceed with the early consolidation of its high schools, athletics, or extra-curricular programming prior to the completion of the new Christian County High School, according to a news release from CCPS.

Instead, the district plans to shift its focus towards cultivating excitement and unity while prioritizing students, explains CCPS Superintendent Chris Bentzel. “We want to provide clarity to our families in our direction and be intentional in our focus over the next two years,” Bentzel said.
