HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The 12th annual Christmas at the Bend is returning on Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center for a day filled with family fun activities.
Jeffers Bend is expected to serve an array of refreshments like homemade cookies, hot chocolate, hot cider, and more throughout the day. There will be plenty of Christmas themed activities to do such as making Christmas cards, and other arts and crafts stations. Games will be set up with a chance to win prizes, and families will have the opportunity to stop by Santa’s workshop for a picture with the big man himself.
Alongside the fun, there will be educational talks from local firemen and police officers as well as instructional teachings on bird feeding in the winter.
Admission is $5 per car, and $10 per bus. The entrance fee covers all costs except the photo with Santa in his workshop which is an additional $5. All military families and first responders are free. For more information, contact Charles Turner at the Jeffers Bend office at 270-885-5600.
