HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Christian County Public Schools is inviting the community to attend the ribbon cutting at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Learning Center on Aug. 7 at 5 p.m. as CCPS celebrates the opening of the new center.
“We are excited to offer a space dedicated to our youngest learners where they can discover, grow and be inspired,” said CCPS Superintendent Chris Bentzel. “The center embodies our commitment to ensure meaningful learning experiences that provide the tools for preschoolers to begin their educational journey to success.”
Located at the former Indian Hills Elementary building, 313 Blane Drive, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Learning Center will offer a range of programs focused on early learning, kindergarten readiness, and preschool for qualifying three and four-year old’s in Hopkinsville and Christian County, according to CCPS. The center also houses the Inspire Early Learning Academy, a fully licensed childcare center for employees of Christian County Public Schools.
“Our vision to support the need for early learning is becoming a reality with the opening of this center,” said Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Early Learning Center Principal Leigh Ann Stewart. “The center represents so much more than a preschool center, it is an investment in the future of our community and lays the foundation for a lifetime of growth and learning.”
