HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A body was found lying in the road of a residential area on Sunday, prompting an emergency response and police investigation.
Emergency crews with the Hopkinsville Fire Department/EMS responded to the area of Jessie Street and South Walnut Street around 11:45 a.m. on Aug. 16 due to an unresponsive male in the roadway. The man was already deceased upon arrival, with initial reports stating he was in his 50s.
EMS says a medical episode may have contributed to his death, but the Hopkinsville Police Department is investing the circumstances leading up to the discovery of his body. The Christian County Coroner’s Office was requested to the scene.
