CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a dog attack Friday afternoon that resulted in the dogs death.
On Oct. 23 at 2:55 p.m. deputies were called for a 9-year-old child who was attacked by a dog and suffered arm and leg injuries on Woodbine Street.
The dog, which was not the family’s pet, was shot by the child’s family and died from the injuries, according to a news release from CCSO.
The child was taken to the hospital by private vehicle for treatment.
