HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Crowds gathered Saturday afternoon for the annual MAC Chili Cook-Off and Cornbread Competition in downtown Hopkinsville.

Over 30 booths filled Founders Square as participants competed for the best chili and best cornbread with hopes of winning the $1,000 cash prize. Visitors sampled chili from a variety of amateur chefs, using their single ticket to cast their vote by the end of the day.
