CROFTON, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – An accident in Crofton Friday evening left someone with injuries after their truck went off the roadway.
On July 24 at 5:27 p.m. deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office were called for a single-vehicle crash on East Princeton Street in Crofton. A truck was travelling westbound when it ran off the roadway, continuing through a creek, and hitting a fire hydrant, according to John Godsey with CCSO.

The driver was ejected from the pickup truck, which was severely damaged during the crash. Hopkinsville EMS says the driver sustained possible back and rib injuries and possible internal injuries.
EMS transported the driver to Jennie Stuart Health for additional medical treatment.
