HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Tickets are on sale now for the return of the 10th annual Hoptown Holiday Hopfest at the Alhambra Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 30. This year’s headlining act is Max Weinberg, the iconic drummer for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band and former bandleader for Late Night with Conan O’Brien and The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.

Hosted by the Pennyroyal Arts Council, the Hoptown Holiday Fest first began as a local initiative to bring big-city entertainment to the Alhambra stage. Over the years, it has evolved into a cornerstone annual fundraiser for the theatre featuring past headliners like Wynonna, The SteelDrivers, Marty Stuart, Lonestar, and Billy Bob Thornton.

In a new twist, Max Weinberg and his jukebox offers a one-of-a-kind experience where the audience creates the set list in real time. Audience members will choose from over 200 classic rock songs, where Weinberg and his band will deliver it exactly the way you want to hear it.

Over the past decade, the Holiday Hopfest has raised over $130,000 according to PAC. This year’s ticket sales will help fund a much needed update to the theatre’s 11-year-old sound equipment.

Tickets are $60 and can be purchased online at the Pennyroyal Arts website. For more information contact Abigail Love at abigail.love@pennyroyalarts.org or by phone at 270-887-4295 Ext. 103.
