Updated 1:45 p.m.: CCPS Superintendent Chris Bentzel said there is a significant possibility of rain during the commencements on Friday and shared a timeline of what families can expect in the event of severe weather.

  • Weather meeting and senior class meeting will occur Thursday afternoon to discuss options.
  • A decision will be announced by noon on Friday about the location.
  • If rain is anticipated, guests should bring appropriate rain gear, but avoid umbrellas that will obstruct views.
  • If graduations are moved inside to campus gyms, each student will get ten tickets for family members to attend.
