HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Farm Credit Mid-America opened a new Hopkinsville office, located on 20 acres of land just off Canton Pike on Friday.
The office features amenities to serve as a resource for the co-op, its customers and local agricultural groups, according to a press release from Farm Credit Mid-America. On site, there is a 2,000 square foot community wing which is available for use by customers and local groups like FFA and 4-H. There is also an outdoor pavilion which provides space for open-air events like farmers markets.
“This new office, surrounding land and new amenities reflect our commitment to remain part of the Hopkinsville community as we continue to be a reliable source of credit and financial services to farmers and rural residents,” said Brandon Garnett, regional vice president of agricultural lending at Farm Credit Mid-America. “We outgrew our previous space, and it was time to upgrade to a new building.”
Other on-site features include a horse buggy shelter and space reserved for a future community garden. The new office and grounds are located at 5172 Canton Pike. For more information call 270-886-5421.
