Updated 12:23 p.m.: The roadway into the neighborhood on Rose Drive has been opened for traffic.

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A gas line ruptured in the area of Rose Drive and West Seventh Street in Hopkinsville around 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville firefighters and other first responders are currently on scene alongside utilities to secure the area and work to resolve the issue. According to HFD, the gas line should be repaired within two hours or before 1 p.m.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the area as access into the neighborhood that Rose Drive serves is currently closed.
