HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Hopkinsville firefighters are currently on the scene of a fire in an apartment building on the corner of East Tenth Street and Broad Avenue.
According to Payton Rogers with HFD, no injuries have been reported, with ten occupants inside at the time of the fire. “It’s unknown how the fire started at this time,” said Rogers. “Crews are currently working to find the seat of the fire and extinguish.”
All occupants of the building have been accounted for, and one tenant was treated by EMS for an unrelated injury. The damage is moderate at this time as crews continue to work to fully extinguish the building.
