HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Since May, the Hopkinsville-Christian County Downtown Farmers Market has been home to fresh produce, local goods, and family fun. Oct. 10 marks the end of the season, and one last chance to shop among the booths.
Every Thursday night from 4-7 p.m., Founders Square was transformed into an open-air market filled with vendors, local farmers, businesses, and handcrafted products. Some of the well-known faces included Casey Jones Distillery, MB Roland, Century Oaks Farm, and Little Creek Family Farm.
Throughout the season, the downtown market also showcased unique pop up events including a bike night with smoothie samples, a kids night with agriculture themed activities, a cocktail competition, food trucks, customer appreciation night, and more.

On Oct. 10, one lucky and loyal customer will be receiving a give-away bag filled with items from local businesses to celebrate the successful end of the year, according to Community Development Services. The usual fresh produce and baked goods will be available as well.
The market will return in May 2025. For more information, visit the Hopkinsville-Christian County Downtown Farmers Market on Facebook, or call 270-887-4285.
