HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Santa Claus is coming to Hoptown to spread holiday cheer, and he is bringing the Hopkinsville Fire Department along for the ride. On Sunday, Dec. 15 starting at 1 p.m., Santa will be cruising through town, escorted by the Hopkinsville Police Department to bring joy and merriment to all.
He’ll be making his way from the main fire station in downtown Hopkinsville to Skyline Drive, Indian Hills, and Canton Pike. Families can keep an eye out for Santa’s route, as a GPS tracker on the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation website will show his location, along with street by street turns so you’ll know when he is on the way.
“It’s an event we always look forward to doing, said Payton Rogers with HFD. “We enjoy being a small part of bringing a little joy to the residents of this community in this unique way.”
Santa will be riding passenger seat of the fire truck so be sure to find the perfect spot to catch a wave and a ho-ho-ho from the big man himself. For more information, contact Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation at 270-887-4290.
