HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library has a new addition to its grounds, a one-mile walk filled with stories for families and children to enjoy.
As you walk around the library, there is a one-mile path leading families on a unique outdoor reading adventure. The interactive StoryWalk brings attendees through scenic pathways, all while discovering pages of a story displayed on different stations.
Four times a year, a new story will be featured providing fresh opportunities for families to bond and explore, according to HCCPL. The project is a partnership with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation, which aims to promote literacy, exercise, and time spent in nature.
A ribbon cutting ceremony for StoryWalk will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 9 a.m. at the library grounds, 1101 Bethel Street.
