HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The ramp from northbound U.S. 41A to westbound Interstate 24 in Christian County will be blocked for several hours tomorrow as crews make repairs to a section of guardrail that was damaged in a recent crash.
The accident occurred around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7 when a semi-truck collided with the guardrail, killing the 44-year-old driver.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close the ramp, located at the 4.4 mile point of U.S. 41A, from 9 a.m. until around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, according to a press release from KYTC.
The blockage will only impact vehicles heading north from Fort Campbell that plan to head west on I-24 towards Paducah.
