HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man from Hendersonville, Tennessee was arrested in Oak Grove for trafficking fentanyl after a traffic stop Tuesday night.
Deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on Feb. 25 after a vehicle coming out of the Oak Grove casino failed to use his turn signal and did not stop at a stop sign. The 40-year-old driver was identified as convicted felon with outstanding warrants.
According to a CCSO report, a K9 unit searched the vehicle leading to the discovery of drug paraphernalia, fentanyl, and a firearm.
He was arrested and charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, use of restricted ammunition, two Christian County failure to appear warrants, and traffic violations.
