OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – With less than a month away until the Kentucky Bands, Bourbon, and Wine Festival, Oak Grove Tourism is working hard to ensure an array of vendors for visitors and locals alike.

“So this year we are looking at having more vendors to visit as we started the planning process earlier in the year,” said Scarlett Mayfield with Oak Grove Tourism. “We are excited to say as of right now we have about 11 different vendors between distilleries, wineries, and breweries.”

Kentucky’s renowned bourbon distilleries will be on hand, along with a selection of wines from Kentucky wineries. There will also be craft beer on site, according to a news release from Oak Grove Tourism. Executive Director Traci Cunningham said the festival promises a weekend full of fun and entertainment with performances from Kentucky’s finest bands, highlighting a variety of genres including bluegrass, country, rock, and jazz.

There will also be a variety of food trucks with an array of dishes from traditional Southern cuisine to modern gourmet fare. Visitors can enjoy everything from BBQ to vegetarian delights, ensuring something for every taste.

To pair with bourbon Oak Grove Tourism is also looking for vendors offering sweet desserts, coffee, and cigars, Mayfield told Christian County Now. She also added a photo opportunity will be available with bourbon barrels.

“Everything is coming together nicely. It is exciting to be able to add on new things and we can’t wait to see it come together,” Mayfield said. The free festival will be Saturday, July 13 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Oak Grove Memorial Walking Trail Park, 101 Walter Garrett Lane.
