HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The League of Women Voters is hosting a coffee with the legislators event at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library in March.

The League of Women Voters began in 1920 and has continually advocated for voting rights, providing voter information, and registering voters.

The event will take place on March 2 at 8 a.m., in the library’s upstairs meeting room.

Currently, Representative Myron Dossett and Senator Whitney Westerfield will be present. They will discuss the current legislative session including bills on the docket and passed bills. Participants will be able to ask the legislatures questions regarding voting, elections, tax, budget, the legislative process and more.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
