OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A 42-year-old man with felony warrants was arrested after Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies found multiple narcotics in his vehicle early Thursday morning after a traffic stop.

The suspect was driving his vehicle near the Exxon Mobile, located on Fort Campbell Blvd. when deputies observed the license plate was improperly attached. Upon making contact with the driver and passenger, a distinct odor of marijuana emanated from the vehicle, according to a news release from CCSO.

The driver was found to have multiple outstanding felonies and misdemeanor warrants. Deputies searched the vehicle and found several narcotics, meth, marijuana, THC edible gummies, and prescription pills. There was also drug paraphernalia including pipes, rolling papers and needles.

He was arrested and charged with improper display of registration plates, failure to register motor vehicle, drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession, and possession of marijuana.
