HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A woman was arrested for drug trafficking after over 300 grams of meth and other drugs were found during a traffic stop in Hopkinsville Tuesday night.

According to a police report from Hopkinsville Police Department, a traffic stop was conducted after the suspect’s vehicle failed to use a turn signal on East Ninth Street and Bethel Street. While HPD was in the process of issuing a written warning to the 41-year-old driver, a K-9 unit alerted officers of the presence of drugs in the car.

After searching the vehicle, they found over 300 grams of methamphetamine, 50 grams of cocaine, eight ounces of marijuana, a digital scale, and a large amount of U.S currency. She was arrested a charged with first degree trafficking, trafficking marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
