HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – April kicks off a busy season filled with family activities by the Pennyroyal Arts Council in Hopkinsville.

Lots of great music is coming with the Steep Canyon Rangers will take the Alhambra Theater stage on April 12. This bluegrass band implements elements of pop, country, and folk rock to create their original sound. The WannaBeatles are coming June 8 with medleys of songs by groups of the 60s and 70s.

Over the summer, PAC is hosting a variety of educational opportunities for kids, including a summer art camp. The Visual Arts Camp will begin June 3 with two sessions for first to fourth grade students and an afternoon session for fifth through eighth grade students. It will be led by resident artist and art educator Paula Gieske.

Then in July, the Missoula Children’s Theatre returns on July 22 through July 26 for the production of Jack and the Beanstalk. Registration is now open and everyone who registers will be cast in the show.
