PEMBROKE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – On March 20, MB Roland Distillery will host a grand opening tournament for their new nine-hole disc golf course spread across their expansive property in Pembroke. Open since 2009, the locally owned distillery produces whiskey, bourbon and moonshine utilizing grains from Christian County.

In addition to the new course, the Strong Side Disc Golf Pro Shop will be integrating into their St. Elmos General Store on the grounds. Discs, accessories and more will be sold there alongside available spirits. This is one of a few courses around Christian County with disc golfers also able to play at the Trail of Tears Commemorative Park, War Memorial Park, and the North Drive Disc Golf Course.

From 4-7 p.m. at the grand opening event on March 20, a tournament will be held with free entry. There will be prizes, giveaways, a food truck and themed cocktails. Participants in the tournament can register ahead of time to save their spot.

The course will be available daily, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1-6 p.m. All people looking to access the course must check in at the gift shop.
