OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Oak Grove is set to welcome a new subdivision called Echo Ridge extending from Avondale Road and Arctic Avenue.

“The first phase will include the construction of 50 homes,” Brian Ahart, Public Works Director told Christian County Now. He confirmed this will be the first of several phases.  The initial project will span approximately 15 acres, with construction expected to begin later this year.

At the Oak Grove City Council meeting on Feb. 4, Ahart announced that Bill Mace Homes, a construction company located in Clarksville Tennessee, will be spearheading the development. Recently, city leaders have been addressing the area’s growth as several businesses, including Starbucks, Dollar General, and Buc-ee’s plan to open. Construction for these establishments is set to begin later this year.

“All of this is good news for Oak Grove,” said Ahart. “When you have a developer, whether it’s houses or businesses, to pick your city to invest in, it’s a good thing for your community.”
