OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) –It’s time to start dusting off the recipe cards and tying aprons for the first ever Sweetest Contest in Oak Grove this Halloween.
Amateur bakers in and around the city will show off their skills with their best recipes of anything sweet, including items like cakes, cookies, pies and more. Local judges will decide their favorites, then crown the Sweetest in Oak Grove.
The contest will take place during the Halloween Fest at the community center on Oct. 31 from 5-8 p.m. The Halloween Fest is free and open to the public. Alongside the contest, there will be food, games, and music for everyone to celebrate the spirit of the spooky season.
