HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes are waiting to be adopted at the Christian County Animal Shelter. The shelter is at 2935 Russellville Road, and the phone number is 270-887-4175. Business hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and the shelter is closed for lunch from 12:30-1 p.m.

Meet King DeeDee! This handsome fella is a two-year-old red and white Pitbull Terrier mix, and he is ready to find his new forever home! King DeeDee was owner released to the shelter because his family could no longer care for him, and he is hoping that his pawfect family will come and adopt him! This sweet boy is great with other dogs, we do not know how he does with cats, but we do offer trial adoptions! King DeeDee does fantastic with children, his lovable and easy-going spirit will make him the best companion for any home! This good boy is house, and crate trained, he is just the best boy imaginable. King DeeDee is HW NEGATIVE, UTD on vaccinations, and weighs 95 pounds! Come adopt this beautiful boy today! Meet Pocka Idle! This beautiful baby is a ten-week-old white and black domestic shorthair kitten, and she is currently looking for her forever home! Pocka Idle was found as a stray and was brought to the shelter in order to find a loving family! This sweet girl should have no issue adjusting to a home with both cats and dogs, but we do offer trial adoptions! Pocka is loving and goofy, she has a spunky and playful spirit, and would do great with children! Pocka is litterbox trained, UTD on vaccinations, and is FIV/FLV/HW NEGATIVE!
