HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes are waiting to be adopted at the Christian County Animal Shelter. The shelter is at 2935 Russellville Road, and the phone number is 270-887-4175. Business hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and the shelter is closed for lunch from 12:30-1 p.m.

Meet Tigger! This handsome boy is a three-year-old orange domestic shorthair cat, and he is currently looking for his forever home! Tigger was owner released to the shelter because they could no longer care for him. Tigger does not do well with dogs or other cats, we also offer trial adoptions to see if he’s a purrfect fit for your home! Tigger may be a bit spooked at first, but given time he should adjust to kiddos! Tigger is litterbox trained, UTD on vaccinations, is FIV/FLV/HW NEGATIVE, and is ready to be adopted today! Tigger’s adoption fee is $75 plus tax!
Meet Billey! This sweet girl is a three-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix, and she is currently looking for her new forever home! Billey was owner released to the shelter because the owner could no longer care for her, now she is available for adoption! This sweet gal does great with other dogs and also loves kiddos of all ages, we do not know how she does with cats, but we do offer trial adoptions to make sure she’s a good fit for your family! Billey is house trained, so if you’re looking for a good companion you’ve met the girl of your dreams! Billey is HW NEGATIVE, UTD on vaccinations, is SPAYED, and is ready to be adopted today! Billey’s adoption fee is $79 plus tax!
