Updated 2:47 p.m. The accident involved two vehicles and left an adult man in severe injuries, according to Payton Rogers with Hopkinsville Fire/EMS.
The man was ultimately transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with CPR in progress.

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Christian County Emergency Management have reported an accident in Gracey that has resulted in a road closure.
The accident was reported just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the eastbound lane of Highway 68 by Gracey Sinking Fork Road. According to CCEM, this portion of the roadway by the intersection will remain shut down for a few hours.
Motorists heading this direction are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
