HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – This weekend, continue the Halloween festivities with a downtown trick-or-treat, support the animal shelter with a paint event, watch a football game with the family, and take a spooky stroll through a cemetery with the museum!
Downtown Trick-or-Treat: Join Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation for free trick-or-treating! Candy will be passed out on South Main Street. Come in costume and bring your own candy bag on Friday, Nov. 1 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Paint Your Pet Fundraiser: Join Dabbling DaVinci for a paint your pet event at the Hopkinsville Brewing Co., 102 East 5 Street on Saturday, Nov. 2. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Christian County Animal Shelter.
Museums of Historic Hopkinsville Soul Strolls: Strolls will take place in Riverside Cemetery, the city’s largest burial ground. Located on North Main and Metcalfe streets, Riverside Cemetery became Hopkinsville’s official resting place in 1854. The walking tour will cover approximately 1 mile and will last approximately 90 minutes. The strolls will begin Friday, November 1, at 6 p.m.and 8 p.m.
HHS Tigers vs PRP Louisville: Join Hopkinsville High football team as they compete against PRP Louisville at the Stadium of Champions, 9503 Eagle Way on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
