HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – This weekend shop among local vendors, bring the family for a movie night with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation, watch The Nutcracker live, listen to a Christmas themed concert, spend the day at Jeffers Bend, drink hot cocoa with Santa in Oak Grove, and visit the Ft. Campbell holiday market!

Christmas Pop Up Shop: Join Studio 3, 210 East Ninth Street on Friday, Dec. 6 from 4-8 p.m. for a Christmas Pop Up shop with local vendors and goods.

Christmas Movie Night: Join Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation for a holiday movie night at the Thomas Recreation Center on Friday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. They will be showing How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

The Nutcracker:  Join us at the Alhambra Theatre, 507 South Main Street on Friday Dec. 6-8 at 6:30 p.m. for the 5th annual production of The Nutcracker, brought to life in collaboration with the incredible talent from Brooke Bailey Dance Addiction & Gymnastics!

Christmas Concert: Pennyrile Area Community Band Presents: Christmas Concert. Free admission. Donations are appreciated. Come enjoy the holiday season with Christian County Middle School PAC, on Glass Avenue. The concert is on Friday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m.

Christmas at the Bend:  Spend the day at Jeffers Bend, on Metcalf Lane for a variety of holiday themed activities and the chance to take a picture with Santa! The festivities begin Saturday, Dec. 7 from 11-1 p.m.

Christmas in the Grove: Christmas in the Grove is coming back for the fourth time to Oak Grove on Friday, Dec. 6, from 5- 8 p.m. The annual event will feature a parade, Santa’s workshop, hot cocoa, and a tree lighting ceremony at the end. Anyone interested can participate in the parade and most decorate their vehicle or ride along in a golf cart.

Ft. Campbell Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Market: To hold Fort Campbell’s Inaugural Holiday Parade for Soldiers, Families, and the community. The entities on Fort Campbell will be displaying floats, walking personnel, and music. The event will conclude with Santa’s arrival and lead into our annual tree lighting ceremony and Holiday Market. It all takes place on Friday, Dec. 6 from 5-9 p.m. at 38 Screaming Eagle Blvd.
