HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – This weekend, watch racers drive derby style, enjoy a historic craft sale, and cheer on the community at the 18th annual soap box derby!
12 Annual Hopkinsville Super Kids Race : Join for an evening at Ruff Park, 729 North Drive cheering racers on as they race down the hill with an experienced driver in a specially designed two-seater soap box derby car. Spectators can watch for free on Friday, May 3 at 6 p.m.
Chickie Craft Sale: Craft sale at the hisotric Jefferson Davis Monument, 258 Pembroke Road in Fairview, Ky. The sale will highlight local vendors and artisans on Saturday, May 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
18 Annual Hopkinsville Soap Box Derby: Watch the 18 annual Hopkinsville Soap Box Derby at Ruff Park, 735 North Drive. The event is open for ages 7-20. Join for a day of family fun as derby racers compete for the championship. Spectators can watch for free on Saturday, May 4 at 8 a.m.
