HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – If you haven’t attended the Western Kentucky State Fair yet, this weekend marks your final opportunity! Additionally, indulge in food trucks and cocktails at Casey Jones, or savor brunch at the Bruce.

Western Kentucky State Fair: Rides include the classic fair attractions like the ferris wheel, carousel, swings, and will host an array of big thrills. Gate admission is $3 and for $1 military members. Children two and under are free. The fun takes place at the Western Kentucky State Fairgrounds, 2810 Richard Street. The fair is open until Saturday, June 29.

Dog Days of Summer: Join Casey Jones Distillery, 2815 Witty Lane for the Dog Days of Summer Event in hopes to benefit the Christian County Animal Shelter. There will be food trucks, live music, delicious cocktails, and microchipping and nail trimming by the animal shelter. The event begins on Saturday, June 29 at 9 a.m.

Brunch at the Bruce: Brunch begins on Sunday, June 30 10:30 a.m. at the Bruce Convention Center, 303 Conference Center Drive. There will be a ton of delicious food from Chef Heap. Adults are $22.95 and children six to 12 are $12.95.
