HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Storms and rain may come through Christian County late Friday night some of which may be severe.

The National Weather Service is predicting that wind gusts as high as 22 mph are possible on Saturday with rain chances returning later that night. A 50% chance of rain remains possible through Sunday with temperatures staying in the low 80s.

  • Sunday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 82. West wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
  • Sunday night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10pm, then a slight chance of showers between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. West northwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
