HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – It’s going to be hot this weekend as sunny, clear skies are expected for the next few days.

Christian County will reach above normal temperatures this weekend and early next week with the heat index reaching 100 degrees. NWS is encouraging people to stay indoors if possible and take frequent breaks if they are outside.

Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s with lows reaching the 70s overnight, according to the National Weather Service.
